History and Philosophy

Bob and Gary opened the doors to The Great Cover Up back in 1982. Having been raised in the business, Bob's introduction to reupholstery goes back to his early teen years. After years of experience, he and Gary both have a keen knowledge in working with their clients to transform an old piece of worn out furniture into a masterpiece. Be it residential or commercial, each piece of furniture is treated to old world care and craftsmanship.

The philosophy of reupholstery is to take an older well built piece of furniture with quality hardwood construction, and restore it from the frame up. By using quality fabrics, your sofa or chair will last for many years.

If you have ever purchased new quality or custom built furniture, you know about the longevity and comfort of such a piece of furniture.
