The Benson House is a centennial home built in 1907.
It has been completely restored, keeping many of the original features.
It has been updated with all the modern amenities to fit your needs.
The house is located just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Couer D' Alene,
The City Park and the beach. It is a perfect place to stay for all the summer
activities that Coeur D' Alene offers.
 The Benson House features an especially charming wrap around porch complete with
cushioned wicker furniture and a porch swing to create that relaxing
"step back in time" feeling. The huge fenced backyard has a large new deck with a gas
grill, table and chairs. This large yard provides plenty of room for games.
Horse shoes, Volleyball, Badminton, and Croquet equipment are all provided.
This park like setting makes the Benson House a perfect location for a large group.
 The main floor of the house itself offers a full size living room with optional
additional sleeping possibilities. The dining room seats up to 10.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities. There is one bedroom on the
main floor with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom. The second floor offers a
large bedroom with a king-size bed. A second bedroom with a queen-size bed has wonderful
morning light and a beautiful bay window. The third bedroom has lots of character and has a twin-size bed.
The bathroom on the second story features a clawfoot tub and combination shower.
 LOCATION IS EVERYTHING: From the Benson House, you can walk to any number
of coffee shops, resturants, clubs, art galleries, antique stores and shopping boutiques.
Not to mention the lake! The beach and pier is just 7 blocks from the house. Boat rental
and water sport activities are all at you fingertips. You are also only minutes away from
world famous golf courses, great fishing, bike and hiking trails, and horseback riding.
Within a short distance you can ride the world's longest gondola at Silver Mountain,
enjoy your day with the kids at Silverwood Theme Park, visit the Coeur D 'Alene Casino,
or go white water rafting.
